UNDERGRADUATE
MINOR
IN BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING
The Biomedical Engineering
minor is a 15 credit house program that is
open to all engineering majors and other
students that meeting the prerequisites
listed below. Six credit hours (two
courses), are required and the remaining
credit hours are selected by the student
from the collection of courses that cover
diverse topics within the field of
biomedical engineering. Engineering majors
must complete at least 9 credit hours beyond
the requirements for a B.S. in any
engineering discipline for the biomedical
engineering minor. Students must register
with the Department of Chemical Engineering
undergraduate advisor the College of
Engineering are currently developing
additional courses that will be added to the
list of courses that can be applied to the
minor, so consultation with the advisor will
insure that students are informed of all
offered courses.
